Poured from a bottle with a sticker that read 989426 ’Unlawful to Remove’, I torn it right off! :)
THe pour is nice, a medium amber with a pretty light head that didn’t really last. Perfectly clear. Smell is very good, full of hops. Taste is the much of the same, hops, with a slight pine finish. Very good brew, and a solid, easy drinker. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA

The nose is very clean and fresh and hoppy, light sweet malts and a nice herbal character. The flavor is good, lightly hoppy, clean malts. Solid body. Could use a bit more umph but overall it’s pretty good. Nice. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 3, 2004 Deeply golden hazen bronze color with a medium ivory cap that took a good while to fade and leaves some stringy lacing. Aroma is quite nice, great hop nose for a pale, freshly citric with lemon and orange with a nice grassy tone added within mixing under a crispy crusted semi-sweet malt backing. Taste is right on for any pale, straight up west coast style with a higher hop tone and bite then most, fresh, crisp, citric, grassy, bits of pineyness, good malting adds just enough sweetener for it, keeping a desent balance, although the top has got quite a nice hop bite, which I liked. Feel is about medium, with a nice hop bittering tone over the top, mixing well til the finish where it does linger some and favors more sips. Overall drying with toasty breads, hop grasses, and citric sours. A nice drinkin’ pale.
