Aroma of roasted chocolate malts and nuts. The flavor is sweet, roast, slight chocolate. Thin body, decent brew. JDUB (170), Beautiful Venice Beach, California, USA

Not a very exciting brew - partly because its been victimized by UT’s low alcohol laws. But I love the tag line "why have just one?" scottyw (46), Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2007 A solid Utah porter. Despite lack of alcohol, has a slight alcoholic finish. Scents of roasted coffee dominate the aroma, almost masking the doughy notes. The head lasted beautifully to the bottom, and the body was beautifully dark. You could get away with bottling this as "Guinness Light" GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 6, 2007 Brew pours midnight brown w/ a medium sized, beachball spattered lather that reduces rather abruptly leaving some creamy lace behind. Aroma is mildly roasted w/ some cocoa malts. Full nectar w/ soft residual effers creatings a creamy texture. Malty and moderately roasted w/ a little cocoa, leather, and a mild sweetness. The finish is bittered nicely w/ a lingering sour ghost. Overall: Nothing to write home about but a decent brew none the less. rmussman (905), California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 5, 2007 A nice porter that seems a little lowly ranked here. It has a very hearty aroma and a dark dark appearance with a thin lacey head. Mouthfeel is smooth with little aftertaste and flavor is a little chalky but still very nice. after4ever (2806), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 4, 2007 12-oz. Great name. Great t-shirts. Great slogan. Great label. Medium clear, half-dark brownish ebony. Modest dusty chocolate nose. Light attack, subdued flavors on a medium body with lightish carb. Same notes on the mid palate as on the nose. Somewhat cloying finish. motelpogo (4395), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 10, 2007 Pours a deep and very dark brown color, topped by about a quarter inch of creamy tan foam. The head disipates fairly quickly, but provides nice sheets of lacing at first. Later, nothing. Ever so slight aroma of chocolate.
Very nice dry chocolate malt flavor. Unfortunately nothing else. You would think a ’polygamous’ beer would have had more than one taste to offer, no?
Somewhat on the thin side, though still smooth.
