Clear ruby-brown with low tan head that diminishes to ring. Biscuity and roasted malts with leafy hops, chocolate and fair finishing bitterness. Flavour is quite light. Medium body is somewhat sticky with low carbonation. Bottle sampled at GBBF 2005.

Aroma has a touch of caramel and butterscotch and cookie dough. Starts semi-sweet, kinda thin and dry, lightly bready and earthy with nice malty presence and a touch of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Could be thicker, but otherwise ok. beeryum (652), Norcross, Georgia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 11, 2005 Bottle. Pours ruddy brown. Old beer aroma - a little estery to me, some roasted malt, and a tiny hint of chocolate. Flavors had more pronounced dark fruit in them, roasty caramel malts, and a touch of smoke. Thin. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 10, 2005 Pours a clear but dark hidden reddish burnt amber with a solid sheet of light tan head. Roasty aroma with touches of lactic acidicness. Weak, extremely watery roasty flavor. Utah is against the law of beer. This could actually be ok if it had about twice the amount of alcohol in it...but with 4% it just like carbonated water with two squirts of essence of porter. The roastiness though is nice and clean if you can find it there. goldtwins (4081), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 26, 2005 Poured brown with a red tint and thin light tan head. Malty aroma with a good amount of dark fruits and a light roast. Flavor was light with malt, light roast and a bitter semi-dry finish. Thin body. I had 3 other bottles of it and I think I let this one get too old. So I will give it a point or two from the first tastings. telepork (84), USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 18, 2005 Dark, but translucent. Chocolate smell. Carmel wheat taste. A little watery tasting, slightly metallic. More velvety around the back of the tongue. Good micro, would drink again. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia

More of a novelty than anything, but still acceptable if you happen to be stuck in Utah. Just watch out for the high sin tax there.
