Commercial Description:
This dark, medium bodied ale offers the drink-ability of a much lighter beer. The inviting chocolate and malty flavors fade into a slightly dry, silky smooth finish. Why have just one? 4.0% alcohol by volume. • 2008 Silver Medal Winner, Brown Porter, North American Brewers’ Association • 2008 Silver Medal Winner, Brown Porter, World Beer Cup • 2006 Silver Medal Winner, Brown Porter, North American Brewers’ Association

Thanks to Buck Dich for this. Pours deep ruby with medium splotchy white head. Aroma of malt, cabernet, nuts, some chocolate. Tastes malty, with some krieky fruitiness, cabernet, and toffee/caramel at the finish. Smooth, but somewhat watery palate.

Pours mahogony, with ample head that sticks well down the glass. Sour, Burnt chocolate smell. Very smooth. I expected it to be sweeter, but it’s not. It’s dry & crisp. Mild cocoa flavor with a litlle Hop bitterness. Typical of black malt. Finishes dry, & clean. Stupid name. Utah kicked out all their polygamists. Sent them all to Colorado and Arizona.

Clear dark red color with a thin head and no lacing. Very thin in body and it has an unpleasant bitterness to it at the end. Not bad but not that good either.

Honestly not as bad as I had expected, but definatly nothing special, thin bown body, fruity flavor, malty, watery palate, Belgianxxx brought this to me for obvious novelty purposes, who watches South Park? dumb da dumb dumb dumb.

Bottled. Ruby/black, small head. Light bodied with clean and hard mouthfeel. Roasty, but simplistic and one-dimensional. Low bitterness.

mild, roasty aroma; subdued, milky-sweet flavor with a hint of toffee and chocolate; water, but smooth palate; an unexciting, simple, drinkable porter
