Medium cream colored head. Chocolate and caramel smell and strong taste, coffee lingering aftertaste that mellows nicely. Flavorful and nice micro. jrob21 (1277), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Almost closer to a scotch ale for me. Would like a little more roasted malt. Molasses and chocolate aroma. Fruity flavor with a bittersweet finish. A little thin and light bodied. Need a little more heft and character. The name is pretty rockin’ though. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Taste is roasted malt, chocolate malt and a little thin. An average porter, but possibly one of the best beer names of all time. hayduke (1674), Eureka, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 24, 2008 From 12 oz bottle. Had to have this just because of the name and label. The beer itself pours a rich brown, light tan head, and good lacing. Nose of light roasted malts and nus, and a medium mouthfeel. Flavor is chocolate and fruits. Kind of a diluted flavor. Roasted malt finish. If you like your Porter light this is for you, but I found it a little too bland. Fantomasus (122), USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 24, 2008 Pours a deep cola brown. Smells of roasted malt and little else. Funny as the smell might be the best thing about this beer. Tastes like some one took a decent porter and watered it down. No need to try this one again. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Draught at SLC brewpub. I wanted to try this one based solely on the name! Decently dark colour with thin head and malty aroma. Flavour was what you would expect, but a bit light, due to Utah alcohol restrictions. swoopjones (1920), Buffalo, New York, USA

Bit watery & light but one of the better Utah beers i had. Brown color, light chocolate & roasted malts. Decent porter backbone. Would like to see what they could make if they didn’t have to adhere to these laws.
