Thanks for the great find! No doubt the best pumpkin ale I have sampled. The yeast imparts a slight dough aroma complimented by the perfect mixture of clove, vanilla and distinctive pumpkin spices. The nose fills the immediate area with the sense of a freshly baked pumpkin pie sitting out to cool. The appearance was as expected for a spice beer of this nature with a light copper tone to it and a minimal rocky head. The ale lacked the full body you would anticipate when thinking of a rich pumpkin pie, however the creamy texture and pleasing lingering finish of pumpkin pie spices and cinnamon more than make this a true session brew. The total balance of the Wasatch Pumpkin Ale is phenomenal! Chef Chad (102), Grand Junction, Colorado, USA

I will let you know that pumpkin beers are one of my favorite styles. The flavor was solid. Not too sweet, not too spicy. Had a great clean and pumpkin finish that I think I have had in only one other beer like this. This years batch "2008" was amamzing.... This was off the draft at the brewery. kitschy (199), Nebraska, USA

Pours a light brown with a thin white head from a 12 oz bottle. Aroma is nutmeg and cinnamon. But the taste, it’s like a pumpkin pie in the face. I definitely could not drink this regularly, but it is a tasty fall beverage. ajm (925), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 14, 2008 I would totally have it again. Tap at the ’Satch. Very first sniff brings a spot-on replica aroma of pumpkin pie - complete with nutmeg. It’s awesome! Second whiff is cloves and hops. Flavor is mainly spice: clove, cinnamon, hops and flour at the end - the resulting creamy pie crust impression of the finish may complete a "pie filling aroma/pie crust finish" conceit that is impressive on its own, but what keeps it below a 4 for me is that I don’t get the filling in the flavor. Very worth your time if ever in Park City. daknole (2937), Plantation, Florida, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 8, 2008 Poured a clear copper hue with a small cap of white foam. The nose was spicy with nutmeg, allspice and malt. The taste starts malty and nutty with great cinnamon and nutmeg essence. The pumpkin pie flavor is right on. the end is clean with a slight hopiness. The finish was slightly sweet.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 21, 2008 poured a nice amber orange color with an off head. Aroma was a little fainy but cinnamon and nutmeg came through the most. Flavor was a bit watery, but very well balanced and the spices came through very nicely. No Pumking, but a good pumpkin beer.
