Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Oct 13, 2009 Courtesy of douglas88. Pours amber with a white head. Smells of raspberry, some citrus, wheat, buttery. Tastes of pepper, wheat, raspberry. Sweet finish. Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Sep 28, 2009 Courtesy of douglas88. 12oz bottle pours clear gold with short lived white head. The modest aroma exudes raspberry and maybe a distant echo of wheat. The taste is much the same beginning with a slight sharp carbonation enhanced raspberry tartness. It quickly becomes sweet with a sensation of raspberry extract and notes of wheat. It ends with a sticky wheat sort of coating inside my mouth. mikey (336), farmington, Utah, USA Apr 30, 2008 Poured an appricot color with a slight pink tint. The head was moderate but soon dissapeared to a thin cap. The nose was of raspberry syrup. The flavor starts with a mild raspberry sweetness. Subtle malt and hops are bearly noticable in the background. The finish was clean and smooth. Aftertaste was slightly sweet, with a slightly raspberry tartness. This isn’t horrible by any stretch, but this beer does nothing that thousands of other brewers have allready done before. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 17, 2008 Bottle from Douglas88. Light hazy apricot color with small head.Basic wheat with raspberry aroma. The taste is wheat and with artifical raspberry taste, not in a bad way though. Refreshing brew, not bad. spud1987 (46), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Mar 13, 2008 From a pitcher on tap in SLC. Aroma of wheat, some citrus, and raspberries (crazy, I know). It looked very promising and I have been wanting to try this for quite some time. Unfortunately it was very underwhelming. The first thing I noticed was the thin taste. The raspberry flavor was weak compared to the aroma and it tasted artificial to me (probably because it was). Overall, it was a decent beer, just not what I hoped it would be. riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Dec 13, 2007 Bottle courtesy of Douglas88. Light hazy gold with no head. Aroma has notes of raspberry, cereal grain, and wheat. Very pleasant crispness up front. Some lemon wheatiness turns into a pleasant soft raspberry essence. It has a good tart flavor that makes this one super thirst quenching. My only complaint is that it was very thin, but overall, this was a very nice fruit beer. douglas88 (1557), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Oct 13, 2007 Pours a light gold with little head. A smooth earthy brew, with a good mix of raspberry- not too much or too little. Decent taste, worth the try.
