Aubrey (2773), Denver, Colorado, USA Oct 4, 2009 Draft at brewery in Park City: Lively carbonation. Smooth. Lightly sweet base. Honey-like sweetness. Aroma of light flowers. Sweetened white pepper. Mild bitterness. Decent refresher. ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jun 17, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clear, cheerfully golden body with a frothy, bubbly, white head.
Smell: Crisp German malts with a tiny note of toast. Light spicy hops. Light hint of fruit with a slight suggestion of apple.
Taste: Wholesome German malts with touches of pilsner maltiness and toastiness, as if a bit of Vienna malt found its way into the recipe. Light fruitiness. Spicy hops with a subtle bitterness. Light as it may be, there’s still just a minor hint of alcohol. Finishes dry and still vaguely toasty.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A light, pleasant lager best served cold amongst the sweltering heat of summertime. douglas88 (1557), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 9, 2008 Updated: Jul 10, 2008On tap at the brewpub in Park City, Utah. Pours a light golden body with a medium white head. The aroma was crisp malts and some sweet notes. The taste was basically quite malty and fresh, some bready and spicy aspects too. Pretty nice. On Tap – A nice drinking summer beer this had a light golden color with a thin head. The beer had some good malts but lacked some spices and was too wet in the finish. Not the best but for the hot day it was good.
ratman197 (3139), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jun 17, 2007 Cask @ Wasatch poured a clear yellow with a large lasting white head. Aromas of straw and citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, light straw and a hint of lemon with a smooth clean finish.
