Not real sweet, but a full malty amber flavor. A little grassy flavor, most reminiscent of a bock. Pretty good stuff, esp. for 4% jasonp (1513), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 6, 2006 On tap at a mexican restaurant in downtown SLC, I forgot the name. Very clear amber with no head really. Aroma is slightly malty and floral. Some caramel and floral hops in there. Overall light on the malt. Lighter bodied with moderate carbonation. Washes down ok with dinner. Pretty middle of the road though. It’s a beautiful state scenery-wise but I’m glad I live elsewhere. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 22, 2005 this one reminded me of a amber ale or middle of the road....not alot of floral hops and even backbone of malty crunch. dont know what makes it their ’superior’ ale. every one of their beers has exactly 4%abv??? strange mormon brews. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2005 Clear and light brown with a frothy tan head that lasts. Spicy aroma of malt and hops. Interesting combination of flavors with a bit of chocolate, some toasted malt, hops, vanilla, and a little acridness. Thin body. dolemike1 (1129), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 20, 2004 Not very hoppy, not very malty. Decent coloration, not much of a head, too damn watery. Not a great offering. michael-pollack (2729), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Mar 7, 2004 This beer was veryd dissapointing. Although I could taste the hops, which were not at all floral, they were not well balanced with the sweet malt. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
