Very mild taste, not really anything special. Palate is bland. No substantial aftertaste, resulting in a middle-of-the-road ale. Not really superior. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2009 Tap at brewery in Park City (early fall): Brown hue. Coffee-like nose. Light body. Malt accented. Nice flavors of toffee and toast. Balanced hops, albeit weak. Slight burntness blended well with the mild bitterness. Decent session beer. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 4, 2008 On tap @ Wasatch Brewpub Park City. Pours up clear amber with tan head. The aroma is a bit perfumy with a flower pedal note as the spicy to citrus hops build and take over. The taste is tart and bitter spice to citrus hops with no body or malty chewiness behind for balance. It tastes like thin hop tea with just a hint of medium roasted malts and biscuit deep in the background hiding under a bush. A little disappointing considering the title and my expectations of what a superior ale would (should) taste like. Just too darn thin. michael-pollack (2728), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Mar 7, 2004 This beer was veryd dissapointing. Although I could taste the hops, which were not at all floral, they were not well balanced with the sweet malt.
