Smells very good. Sweet caramel. Taste is pretty decent. Not real sweet, but a full malty amber flavor. A little grassy flavor, most reminiscent of a bock. Pretty good stuff, esp. for 4%

Better than 2002 because of more hops.

Pretty ordinary pale. Not a lot of hops though and I feel it would be a lot better with more. Interesting smell.

Medium brown color, medium head. A medium bodied ale. Malty and slightly sweet, mild hops, slightly spicy. Mild taste, lots of flavor. Good balance. Smooth. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly malty.

On tap @ Wasatch poured a clear brown with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and light citrus. Palate was light bodied crisp and dry. Flavors of earthiness, carmel and a hint of grapefruit rind with a crisp lingering bitter finish.

Tap at brewery in Park City (early fall): Brown hue. Coffee-like nose. Light body. Malt accented. Nice flavors of toffee and toast. Balanced hops, albeit weak. Slight burntness blended well with the mild bitterness. Decent session beer.

Clear and light brown with a frothy tan head that lasts. Spicy aroma of malt and hops. Interesting combination of flavors with a bit of chocolate, some toasted malt, hops, vanilla, and a little acridness. Thin body.
