BückDich (4785), McCall, Idaho, USA Oct 8, 2009 Tap @ BBF: Pours an amber color with white head. The nose is rich and full with lots of raisins, fig and cherry along with a gamut of dark caramels and light dried fruits. The flavor is balanced though with an earthy dry body and a light twang of hops in the tail. Nice doppelbock, unassuming from Utah! Mahogany brown with a tight head. The aroma is full of rich malt. Indeed this drinks with a full-up caramel kick, strong and rich, particularly for a Utah brew. Good! Aroma is good with hints of brown sugar, caramel, and grains. The carbonation is light but it works well. Has a rather basic flavor. Better than Macros but not real deep. The finish is ok but weak, and no rela great aftertaste. This is okay but not much more.
