Commercial Description:
This German-Style lager is a big beer. A very big very big beer. We think it will earn some "Big Love" from the folks in the Land of Zion. We predict once this beer is discovered "Utah will never be the same". We ask, as with all our products, you enjoy this brew with care and caution.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with some floaters and a 2 finger dense beige head that leaves splotchy lacing. The nose is roasted caramel malt and earthy hops. The taste is burnt caramel, molasses and pine hops in the finish with some warming from the 8% ABV. Medium creamy mouth feel. Decent dobblebock.

Aroma: Nice dark roasted malt aroma with some spices. Light with hops.
Appearance: Brown in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Roasty with a light Carmel flavor. This also had a nice malt base with hops.
Palate: Dry finish, with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall: Very nice Bock , with a great flavor and finish. They know how to brew at Wasatch.

Tried this in the Salt Lake City Airport. Roasted caramel in the aroma, sweet in the taste with some grains and caramel, some fruit too. Smooth and just as good as the Sam Adams variety of this.

Bottle courtesy Dougla88. Pours a dark red with a thin white head. Light caramel malt, roasted grain aroma. Smooth sweet malty body with roasted grain, dark fruit and caramel malt in the taste with a hint of euro hops. Smooth and easy drinking.

Decent head, doesn’t last very long. Amber color. Smells is sweet malt, caramel. Low carbonation.Like Mcox90 said "Taste is sweet malt with caramel and a touch of chocolate." Nice brew with good abv. One of the better, easy to find beers in Utah.

Appearance: Pours a dark amber with a modest, off-white head. Aroma: Bready malt, dry dead leaves. Taste: Bready and caramel malts, fruitiness. Ends with typical bitterness from the style. Mouthfeel: Full bodied, almost thick. Overall: Not a bad "double bock." I like it a little more complex than this, but definitely drinkable.

Not an great beer. I had hope for this when I got it off the shelf. Hope was lost. Not much to the aroma. Clear brown color goes with the watery taste I got

12 oz bottle courtesy of Douglas88. Pours a lovely claret color with a small receding off white head. Nose is sweet with malt and caramel being the primary aromas. Low carbonation with a heavy mouthfeel. Flavor is sweet malt with caramel and a touch of chocolate. 8% alcohol really warms the senses, or dulls them, as the brew warms.
