Commercial Description:
This German-Style lager is a big beer. A very big very big beer. We think it will earn some "Big Love" from the folks in the Land of Zion. We predict once this beer is discovered "Utah will never be the same". We ask, as with all our products, you enjoy this brew with care and caution.

Bottle... March 08 Tampa Bay Tasting... Clear, dark copper lager with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Fantastic, never-ending retention. Lactic, vinous nose with prominent, awkward, berry essences. Full-bodied and creamy with ticklish carbonation. Sweet, fruity flavor delivers a truckload of unidentified berries with plenty of alcohol warmth and bitterness. Moderately bitter, boozy finish. Strange brew... maybe past its prime.

Tap @ BBF: Pours an amber color with white head. The nose is rich and full with lots of raisins, fig and cherry along with a gamut of dark caramels and light dried fruits. The flavor is balanced though with an earthy dry body and a light twang of hops in the tail. Nice doppelbock, unassuming from Utah!

Thanks to Douglas88 for this bottle. Beautiful clear ruby color with a good beige head. Aroma of roasted caramel with a touch/hint of smoke. Full body with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet roast caramel, but there are notes of coffee and smoke. And hints of fruit. Finish is moderately sweet, and there’s not much hop bitter. But the whole thing is a feast for the mouth.
