Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Oct 24, 2009 Bottle courtesy of superdave. Spicey coriander aroma light fruit. Yellow body with white head. Some lemon zest in flavor. Soapy and spicey bitterness were main flavor to beer and little too much here. Thanks Dave hellbilly (1502), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Sep 6, 2009 bottle hauled back from utah by superdave70...
hazy sunshiny yellow with a frothy white head and some drips of foam.
it smells crisp, light and refreshing.... a mix of dusty wheat, pale grainy sweetness, orange, earthy spice and a little yeast.
the flavor has a slight tart note to it... almost like sour cream... lemon, orange, wheat, coriander/earthiness, florals and a muddy/dirty finish. that tartness combined with citrus take care of the finish and make the light to medium body crisp, refreshing and terribly sessionable. 6/3/7/3/14/3.3 jrob21 (1252), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 12, 2009 Bottle from Douglas88. This one is not bad and a little more full flavored than what I was expecting. Pour is a clear yellow with a decent white head that disappears pretty quickly but leaves some nice lacing. Full fruit flavor, orange, apple, is pretty nice. Spice, lemon peel, and a unique although slightly weird soapy aroma. Finish is slightly bitter and you are left with some lemony citrus fruit esthers for a while. ratman197 (3139), Arvada, Colorado, USA Aug 5, 2009 Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small disapating white head. Aromas of coriander, wheat and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of coriander, wheat and light citrus with a crisp lingering coriander finish. cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA Jul 26, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a clear light golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is spice, grain, esters, and light yeast. Flavor is spice, sweet malt, and a touch of yeast. Medium body. A decent beer. machfive55 (218), Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 23, 2009 The beer poured clear amber with two-finger head, the aroma was yeasty with peppery notes. The flavor was dominated by belgian yeast character with pepper and corriander notes, clean and mostly dry. This is a typical American version of a Belgian, nothing crazy but a good solid beer. nbutler11 (729), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jul 11, 2009 Bottle from superdave’s cooler of wonders. Pours like pineapple juice with a trim white head. Smells of coriander and shame. Tastes the same with added notes of citrus and black pepper. A fair compliment to white fish, in my estimation. hayduke (1620), Eureka, California, USA Jul 6, 2009 From a 12 oz bottle this poured a cloudy yellow with a medium white head and lots of lacing as it settled. Nose of citrus and coriander spice. Mouthfeel medium with good carbonation. Flavor is what you would expect with style, with lemons and oranges, again that coriander. Finish is refreshing and spicy. A nice beer and good for a warm day.
