jhumphries69 (717), Tyrone, Georgia, USA Jun 18, 2008 On draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear amber with a thin, light tan head. The aroma was some fruit and some molasses. The flavor was fruity with some notes of dark candi sugar/syrup (molasses, caramel). There is a subtle, toasty character to the malt, too. The finish is medium in dryness with some spice and sweet, dark, maltiness. The mouthfeel is full with a decent level of carbonation. Overall, a decent Belgian dubbel.
