Watch City Blackdogg Oatmalt Stout

2004 draught. Pours a thick oily brown color, fleeting head (head retention here, seems to be a problem). Aroma of thick roast, dark bitter cocoa and a faint trace of sweet chocolate or caramel. Flavor is quite abundant though, with plenty of earthy malt goodness. Tends toward dry, with more dark chocolate and light bitterness from the hops. Finish has a hint of creamy sweetness, but this one is mostly dry and black. Smooth, if somewhat thin palate.

Dark brown in color with ruby highlights and small tan head. Chocolate and roasted malt aroma. Flavor is smokey malt,roasted and chocolate.
