PilsnerPeter (2585), Flushing, New York, USA Jun 22, 2009 Tap at ACBF 2009: Hazy golden with a white film of head. Fruit snack aroma with nondescript graininess. Light feel- with a flavor reminiscent of fruit snacks upfront followed by a clean grain character. Mildly hopped. Not bad- it’d be better without the fruit addition and have the simple clean base beer. jhumphries69 (717), Tyrone, Georgia, USA Jun 18, 2008 On draft at the brewpub. The beer poured a deep, hazy golden orange with a thin, white head. Pints were served with a wedge of orange on the glass (luckily not the sampler, though...). The aroma was light with some citrus. The flavor follows the aroma - light and a little watery. There is a touch of malts and a touch of oranges by mid-palate. The finish is dry and crisp and light. The mouthfeel is light in body and crisp. Overall, a drinkable but very plain ale. RIXbeer (102), USA Jul 24, 2007 golden color with light carbonation. next to no head slight lacing. very little sticking. Malt and orange smell. Nothing to crazy here. Crisp, slight orange flavor, malty. Seems to be medium body until you swallow, then’s it’s very very light. Pretty drinkable, very refreshing and almost cleansing. RCL (1443), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA Jun 17, 2007 Of the four beers I tasted this visit, this was the winner. Light grainy/citrus flavor. Pleasant and worth a try. ukoolaid (572), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA Jul 28, 2006 On tap @ Watch City. Pours hazy yellow orange with white head. Aroma is fruity orange and lemon. Taste is sweet orange with light hops. Fairly dry and bready. Not bad at all. Great for a hot day. fbennett (293), Lowell, Massachusetts, USA Jun 30, 2006 Pours a bright and vibrant orange leaving a thick white lace with a clear clean bubbly body. The aroma is orange, lemon, and grass. The taste starts crisp, dry, and clean, it has a tart sourdough tanginess that really prepares the palate for the citrusy acidic nature of this brew. The balancing act in this beer is a little one sided toward tartness but some honey sweetness brings it up a bit. This is a crisp refreshing beer that is enjoyable to the last drop.
ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Jun 30, 2005 On draught at the brewpub, 6/29/2005. Deep, lightly hazy orange creamsicle colored beer, with some bright yellow-golds. Small, but moderately well-retained bubbly white head, with little to no lacing. Aroma has tangerine juice, light caramel covered oranges and some pale malty sugary notes. Flavor is quite sweet up front with a big dose of orange juice. Kind of like ale brewed with orange juice, as it’s not citric hops. Rather strange, with the sugary malt and citrus. A bit papery on the end, with a zesty carbonation and a caramel and oranges flavor lingering. Lightly watery, though not thin. It has that strange orange creamsicle flavor that the Anderson Valley Summer solstice has, and I don’t like that. It tastes like orange-flavored candy corns have been dissolved in the beer. BlackGold (4), Holliston, Massachusetts, USA does not count Jun 16, 2005 Good crisp summer beer... Refreshing.. I recomend this beer to anyone in the area. This beer is micro brewed by Watch City in the summertime
