goz (359), Chelmsford, Massachusetts, USA Jan 23, 2003 Cask conditioned. Medium-dark brown, with a big frothy tan head that lasts forever, leaving a ring of lace with each sip. Aroma is very malty, fruity, and has some pretty strong floral hoppy notes. Flavor is very big - starts slightly sweet, turns to some woody and grassiness, and ends with a floral, piny hoppiness. Very big mouthfeel, chewy, and long lasting flavor. This very well could be WCBC's best beer. Gregory (357), Pullman, Washington, USA May 5, 2002 CASK- one of my favorite brown ales, I love the wood, earthy tones on the palate, and the deep malt aroma. Beautifully dark, with a beige head. Excellent beer.
