| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2005 I tried both the tap and the cask version. The cask had a far fruitier aroma, more direct, but the flavours were far too understated in mouth, hence I preferred the tap one which I’m gonna rate here. Citric lemon aroma, limey. The pour is golden, shining and proposes a generous white head, long-lasting. This is not very bitter before swallowing, but it has nice gummy melon characteristic initially in its fruit medley. The mouthfeel is very expressive on tap, moderately carbonated and medium bodied. It is oilier and lifeless on cask. Nice dried lemons, cookies and sharp hops flavours. That’s very aromatic, but not very malty at all despite those biscuity feelings, just a citric hops range display. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

A good malt backbone, toasty, with touches of caramel. Finish is medium bitter, with some juicy grapefruity hops. Nice citrusy, piney finish. Gotta love it! MartinT (5075), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2005 On cask : Peppery lemon rinds and miscellaneous citrus fruit flavors make a flavorful, drinkable pint...
On tap : Peppery hops are more prominent and body creamier...This is an all-citrus affair with a quiet, dry ending... Cletus (5059), Connecticut, USA

In mouth, a more British IPA with dry malt, astringent notes, and grapefruit. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Oct. 12 2008. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2004 Pint at the pub. Light golden, a bit cloudy, small firm creamy head. Nice apricot-fruity nose, with some pungent barnyardy notes as it warms. Nicely bitter (but not overpowering) throughout, full-bodied, fairly sweet. This is really pretty boring when served (too cold), but warmed up it brings out vanilla, apricot and citrus flavors. Good but for me not mindblowing or anything.
