Brown. Grain aroma. Very dry flavor. Lightly roasted malt and no hop presence, but more grain flavor with some oatmeal. Drinking this makes me thirsty.

Sampler poured draft at the brewpub (milwaukee, wi). Pours a nice carmel amber with small offwhite head, largely clear. Aromas are light subtle carmel malts and faint florals. Initial is subdued, light carmel and biscuity malts, watery, with minimal bittering hops. Finishes with a twinge of carmel malt sticking to the palate. Ok.

On tap at Water Street Brewery in Milwaukee. Amber with thin off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel and light citrus hops. Taste of honey, caramel with a mild hop finish. A touch too over carbonated like the rest of their beers.

Pours a clear, dark amber colour with a decent size head. Nice sweet malted flavor, plenty of caramel and toffee aromas with a semi full mouthfeel. it is a little lighter then i anticipated, but still a nice beer.

On tap at the Milwaukee location, amber color, with a small white head, toasty, grainy, malt nose, with a biscuity, cookie dough accent, a subtle dried dark fruity note, hint of toffee in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet toasty, biscuity, caramelized malt, buttery character, with a flowery hop citrusy accent, with some light leafy, grassy notes, with a faint dried raisin fruitiness, leading towards a malty, hop biterness finish.

On draught at the brewery/brewpub in Delafield, Wisconsin. Pours a light clear copper amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a thin white ring. Aroma has a light fish scent with some grassy hops and a touch of caramel malt. Taste is light bodied, some carbonation with a light flavor of caramel malt, some grassy hops. Finish is watery, some light fruit at first and then clean cut and crisp.

On tap. Clear amber, with an ok white head. Aroma of citrus hops and caramel behind it. Citrus hops bite early and are backed by the caramel. Almost like the Pale ale, but not as strong. Not a very good amber.
