| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 14, 2002 Big caramel nose, and caramel color to boot. Smooth, smoky, malty-semi-sweet flavor becomes more burnt and smoky as you go; not a good thing in this case. Thinnish body, weak finish. Skyview (4055), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 20, 2008 On draught at the brewery/brewpub in Delafield, Wisconsin. Pours a light clear copper amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a thin white ring. Aroma has a light fish scent with some grassy hops and a touch of caramel malt. Taste is light bodied, some carbonation with a light flavor of caramel malt, some grassy hops. Finish is watery, some light fruit at first and then clean cut and crisp. Poured a clear medium amber with a short cap of white head. Aroma was of sweet caramel and artificial sweetener along with some candy.. very sweet.. faint herbal notes round it out. Very sweet again in the flavor with slightly toasted caramel, candy, floral bitterness, and an odd sourness toward the back. Lighter-bodied with decent balance on the palate.. felt OK. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
