I thought this was a nice weiss beer effort. With a lemon, it really enhanced the flavors. If you can get to Milwaukee this is a nice effort.

Draught at the brewpub (Downtown Milwaukee location). Slightly hazy yellow color with a disappearing thin white head that didn’t leave any lace. Aroma is typical of the style with banana, clove, and light citrus. It was slightly sweet on the tongue with flavors following the aroma. Unfortunately there was a distinct malt extracty note which detracted significantly.

Hazy, golden/amber with slight effervescence. Aroma was popcorn butter over banana. Taste matched aroma with that annoying diacetyl. Not good... buttery flavors as found here make me sick to my stomach.

Sample at Delafield. Hazy yellow body with white head. Aroma and flavor of banana and lemons. Medium body that make it smooth on palate.

Pours to a hazy straw colored body with a thin white head. The aroma is wheat and light bananas. The flavor is wheat and bananas. Light clove. The palate is medium bodied and smooth. This is perhaps the best beer they have?

On tap at the Water Street in Delafield location. Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized head. Served with a lemon slice. Aromas and tastes of citrus, wheat, cloves and bananas. Some lacing left on the glass. Re-rate: 7/16/06. Strong aromas of cloves with lighter bananas and wheat. Wheat comes out stronger in the tastes.

On tap at their downtown Milwaukee location. Light golden pour, crisp white head with decent lacing. Pleasant aroma of banana and cloves. Same essence carries over to the flavor. Very true to the style and quite refreshing. Spritzy mouthfeel. Overall, very decent.
