On tap at the Milwaukee location. Poured slightly hazy reddish-brown with a nice initial tan head that quickly receded to nothingness. The aroma picked up sweeter chocolates and caramel paired well with spicy banana, cloves, and coriander.. not at all what I expected, but very good!.. warmth brought out a layer of wheaty sourness. The flavor had sour, dry wheaty notes throughout.. caramel joined in at the middle and bunches of peppery spices and cloves round out the back. Spicy and warm on the palate with a few sharp alcohol hits.. very good overall! This came across as much more of a weizenbock than a dubbel.

On tap at the downtown brewey. Dark brown with very light tan head. Dark fruit aroma with slight alc and sweet malt. Caramel plum flavor with sweet light roast and other dark fruit, alc is almost not noticable. Medium body and light carb. A very nice dubbel, right in style.

Chestnut color with a rather thin off-white head. Aromas of brown sugar, dates, and scones. Some earthy herbal hops also seem to be present. Small amount of dark fruit sweetness in the front, followed by dark candi and toasted and roasted malts. A very dark abbey ale.

Pint on tap. Pours a dark almost stout like color. Little head, and needed to warm about 15 minutes for the flavors to come through. Aroma is malty with sweet dark fruits. The flavor is ofark fruits, and creamy with a bit of hop bitterness underneath. This tasted more like a light stout than a belgian abbey style. Palate was medium, a bit rough from carbonation. Decent brew.

A nice smooth brew, coming of the tap with a deep caramelized color, bordering on black, with just a hint of a head. The nose is a malty/biscuity combination, and the palate is redolent with floral hops, caramel, biscuit, and a bit of brown sugar.
