Cloudy with a strong lemon, peppery, and yeasty nose. Rich and strong, unlike the other offerings here, a pleasant take on the style and a satisfying brew with a dry spicy, lemon drop aftertaste.

Very cloudy, light straw color with a lost white head prior to serving. Nice light malt, wheat and orange aromas. Flowery perfume flavors distract from the wheaties. Perhaps a touch to much spice in this delicate brew. Lightly dirty/earthy in the finish.

Draft at the Milwaukee location. Cloudy orange appearance. Minimal head. Smooth and mellow, with some light spiciness that becomes more pronounced as the beer warms. Somewhat watery, with a mild citrus edge.

Split a pitcher with cblado and family /friends for his birthday at Oakland Trattoria in Milwaukee. This was my first witbier. Nice light coloring with scents of fruit, especially orange. Not as complex as a fruit beer, however. Good thirst quencher.

On tap at the Oakland Trattoria in Milwaukee. Appearance was a light golden color, some lacing. Aroma was yeasty, scent of coriander and fruit. Flavor was malty, with a not-unpleasant fermented apple taste. Palate was a bit thin. Overall not a bad Belgian witbier.

On tap at the downtown brewpub on 6/21/07: Pours a cloudy pale golden with a thin covering of wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of pale Belgian malt with a touch of floral hops, coriander and faintly bready yeast. Body starts a little thinner with a lightly bready texture and a mild lemon citrus flavor and doughy, but not very sweet malted barley and wheat. Finishes drier and semi-tart, although easy-drinking.

Sampled on draught at GTMW ’08. Pours a semi-hazy golden blonde brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and ring. Aroma of white bread malt, a touch of coriander, some flowery hops, cloves and some banana ester. Taste is light bodied, some carbonation with flavors of white bread malt, some wheat, yeast, coriander, orange zest and a touch of tropical fruit. Finish is light with a mild wheat and coriander aftertaste that quickly disappears.

Light straw-colored body, short-lived white head. Wheaty aroma with lemon rind notes. Mostly lemony flavor with a subtle coriander element. Some pepper as well, watery finish.
