Jan 21, 2007 WA Cask Beer Fest ’06. Pours ruby with an off white head. Aroma is grapes and pine hops. Taste is wine like with a sharp pronounced hop character. Big alcohol flavor. Unique offering.

Oct 26, 2006 Cask. Aroma was raisiny alcohol. Flavor was raisin, sweet malt. Sour finish was a turn off. Not my favorite.

Oct 25, 2006 GABF 2006: Lightly hazy dark amber color with a red tint. Vinous aroma that was fairly sweet. Notes of grapes and apples. Hint of alcohol as well. Sweet and fruity flavor with notes of red wine and dark fruits. Sweet and warming finish. Alcohol is hidden well.
