phishpond417 (1459), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 2, 2008 Probably one of my favorites from Water Street: Poured a somewhat cloudy brown colour with a small tan head. Soft nutty flavor, with a sweet apple aroma. A pleasent mouthfeel and semi sweet taste. CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the downtown brewpub on 6/21/07: Pours a transparent dark copper mahogany with a thin ring of light tan head. Sweet, bready doughy malty nose has a touch of chocolate and nuts. Body starts fairly full with some light raisin and brown sugar complexity thinning toward a doughy, semi-dry finish. An interesting and enjoyable brown ale. MIBRomeo (1889), Wisconsin, USA Oct 7, 2007 terrible... brown, bland, odorless, flavorless... actually it has enough brown sugar like flavor to be more icky.. no no no. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 06/21/2007

Soonah (519), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Aug 13, 2007 Poured a super dark brown with a white foamy head. The aroma was malty, yeasty and some sugar. The flavor was malt, brown sugar and floral hops. Mixed in the backside of the flavor was a weird herbal, tree bark thing that I didn’t quite understand. Very watery mouthfeel. The finish was super dry and this beer was fairly easy to drink. Just weird.
