Draught @ the brewpub. Rating #2700. Pours a black color with a creamy tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty finish with some hints of chocolate in the aftertaste.

On tap at Water Street Brewing in Port Townsend, WA--Poured a watery yet dark brown-black body. Big coffee presence in the nose with some light chocolate. Thin watery dull mouthfeel. Weak homebrewy caramel finish.

Draft at the brewpub; Nose is strong raosty coffee, with light chocolate; Black with a big, glass-lacing tan head; flavor of coffee, chocolate, and light caramel; body kind of thin but has a good flavor.

sample @ cask fest - the quote was "this is our version of guinness" but the color was the only comparable aspect; burnt aromas and flavors; just awful and this first pour of the night

Dark black-brown with small head. Light, dry coffee roast in the nose and a strong coffee component in flavor. Black patent malts add a bitter-burnt finish.
