Poured clear brighter golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up rich bready and caramel malts with a pinch of lemon.. semi-sweet pale malt undertones. The flavor had toasty pale and bready malts with lemon zest at the sides.. some dry yeasty notes and spices at the back-end. Lighter-bodied and crisp on the palate with a little tackiness toward the back. This was powerfully average. ubamartian (155), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 7, 2008 on tap. Pours a transparent pale yellow. Small white head. Aroma is wheat/cereal grain. The flavor was much the same, with a bit more of an earthy grass flavor. Crisp and clean, and light on the palate. Much better than most of their other offerings.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 18, 2007 On tap at the downtown brewpub on 6/21/07 as Munich Lager: Pours a transparent deep golden with a wispy-lacing small forthy white head. Grainy sweet light caramel and Munich malty aroma has a hint of noble hops. Body starts with decent thickness and a drier, earthy, almost cardboardy flavor with some faint sweetness. There seems to be something off with this. eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 11, 2007 On tap downtown. Pour was clear amber-straw with a nice head, which produced pretty good lacing. The aroma was grassy with some grainy malts also present. The flavor was likewise grassy and grainy, pretty smooth beer, high summer drinkability. The mouthfeel was on par for the style, refreshing. Nice one within a somewhat boring style. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 16, 2007 This is a very light drinking and smooth beer. It looks and tastes similar to a pale lager but with some pleasant differences. I liked it as a nice summer beer but it has its limits. JJClark (546), Roscoe, Illinois, USA

| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Nov 22, 2006 Draught at the brewpub (Downtown Milwaukee location). Clear dark golden color with disappearing off white head that didn’t leave any lace. Smelled of light sprucy hops and grainy malt extract. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Tasted of malt extracty maple syrup and bacon. Might be good on french toast, but shouldn’t be served in a beer glass.
