Very clear. Caramel with orange highlights. No head, just a thin ring. Light malt aromas, delicate and unimpressive. Malts and lemony sourness to the flavor. Spicy mouthfeel with lively carbonation stepping up the otherwise mediocre experience.

Sample at Delafield. Decent spice and some fruit aroma and flavor. Some octoberfest beers seem watered down but this on didn’t.

Aroma of light caramel malt and a tiny hint of spice. Similar flavor with a touch of saaz hops in the finish. Dark amber in color with a thin white head. Palate was a little thin, seemed watery.

Clear deep reddish-amber pour with a very light head. Light-medium bodied. Spicy aroma with sweet malts and faint scotch. Nice sweet caramel malts provided much of the flavor... and the hops came through toward the rather watery finish. Pretty good compared with the brewery’s other offerings.

copper color w/ a nice white head. Smells like a fest but much too light. Palate is ok, nothing special. Flavor is lightly bitter some bad malt and wheat. Not a good beer.

Pours to a dark brown/red body with a white head. The aroma is weak. A touch of marzen. The flavor is mediocre ocktoberfest. Nothing outstanding. The palate is so-so.

On tap at the Water Street in Delafield location. Poured a medium copper color with a small sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel, light toffee, nuts and citric oranges.

Pours an orangish brown with a cream cap. Aroma is very malty, with a hint of nut. Smooth, slightly oily, texture that glides through the mouth. Bread and root vegetables are the primary tastes, but they are supported by lighter notes of cream, butter, nut, spice, and toffee. Taste peaks near the end with toffee malts and nut, but an oily mouthfel clouds the taste.
