On tap at their downtown Milwaukee location. Dark orange to light copper sparkling pour with a light white head. Aroma of brown sugar and caramel. Flavor has some ripening vegetable notes with a sweet underlying caramel bite to it. Decenlty thick mouthfeel. Overall, not bad at all.

Brown color with a medium head. Slightly spiced malt aroma. The taste wasn’t quite right... stale malt and grains with a muddle hop finish. Watery. Why the heck was this being served in spring?

Rerate. Still one of the milder of its genre that I’ve had. Originally had thought there to be a nice traditional aroma but the latest tasting produced virtually no aroma, only producing the faintest accents of lime and hay. Taste is not smooth and malty as it was before: it’s more souring and acidic. This is closer to a pale lager. It doesn’t have the malt profile demanded for an Oktoberfest.

Very middle of the road octoberfest (available yearound) that has a hint of roasted malt and VERY slight hop bite.

Somewhat lasting white head, clear medium-dark amber color (like Jack Daniels maybe). Minimal malty aroma. Light flavor, but balanced with sweet grainy malt and slight, unintrusive hops.

Clear dark brown body with just a slight layer of white head. Toasty malt with a little earthy almost rye bread flavor. The hops were appropriately bitter with a little bite. The finish was kind of dry for an Oktoberfest.

Clear dark amber body. Sweet toffee and grain dust in the aroma. Dark bread flavor with light stemmy hops. Oddly dry finish. Unremarkable.
