On tap at the Milwaukee location, amber color, with a white head, biscuity, caramel, toasty malt nose with some cookie dough, and toffee accents, and faint dried fruit aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasty, caramel, grainy malt character, with a nice light toffee flavor, a subtle raisiny note, leading towards a malty, floral hop dryness finish.

Jun 15, 2008 On tap at Water Street Brewery in Milwaukee. Amber with a very thin head. Aroma of toffee, sweet malt and mild toasted hops. Overly malted and carbonated body is a touch too sticky for me. Flavors of caramel, sweet malt, toffee and nuts.

Jun 2, 2008 This beer poured a nice dark brown colour with a little head, moderately laced, Aroma is semi nutty with soft caramel and honey undertones. Mouthfeel is full, silky with typical nutty, caramel qualities. Taste is very smooth and soft.

Apr 20, 2008 On draught at the brewery/brewpub in Delafield, Wisconsin. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of malty caramel, some flowery hops, a touch of toffee and brown sugar. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with light flavors of caramel and flowery hops. Finish is watery with little aftertaste if any.

Mar 7, 2008 On tap. Poured a clean amber with a thin white head. Mostly malt aroma with a bit of light floral hops in the back. The flavor was ok, starts out with the malts, then slips into the spicey bite of light hops to balance. ok, not great.
