On tap @ the Milwaukee location. Aromaof light caramel malts, toast, and some old malts. Light metallic lager notes as well. Flavor has the older malts stronger in the flavor as well as some dirty notes. Clear medium orange with a one finger off-white head, good retention. Light body with moderate prickly carbonation. Not that good.

Light brown. Mild malt and not hops. This is a style I enjoy when done well, but this is just dialed in. The palate is very thin like all of their beers, and the malt flavors are much too weak.

Sampler poured draft at the brewpub (milwaukee, wi). Pours a nice carmel copper, slight haze with minimal head that dies down to nothing. Aromas are light bready malts, slight spice which dies into a nothingness. Initial is bready and biscuity which is a good description of the body on the whole. Slight bitterness rounds out the finish. A bit faint and a bit one dimensional, even for the style, but ok.

On tap at Water Street Brewery in Milwaukee. Amber with a very thin head. Aroma of toffee, sweet malt and mild toasted hops. Overly malted and carbonated body is a touch too sticky for me. Flavors of caramel, sweet malt, toffee and nuts.

This beer poured a nice dark brown colour with a little head, moderately laced, Aroma is semi nutty with soft caramel and honey undertones. Mouthfeel is full, silky with typical nutty, caramel qualities. Taste is very smooth and soft.

On tap at the Milwaukee location, amber color, with a white head, biscuity, caramel, toasty malt nose with some cookie dough, and toffee accents, and faint dried fruit aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasty, caramel, grainy malt character, with a nice light toffee flavor, a subtle raisiny note, leading towards a malty, floral hop dryness finish.
