Light copper appearance, white head, decent lacing. Aroma has some decent floral notes with a touch of citrus. Flavor has a delectable citrus bent to it with some underlying nuttiness and spruciness. Decently thick mouthfeel. One of the better ones from my sample at Water Street. RAYBOY01 (1864), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Nice fresh grapefruit in nose, and taste. Weird pineapple lifesavor taste in there. Good PA, but not fond of the seemingly sweet adjunct. This one is very cloudy - a deep orangish-brownish haze. Smelled of oranges and spice, with a slight wiff of banannas. Beer had a great spicy bite with some strong hops to give it a great finish. As far as ales go, I liked this one a lot. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2004 This one had a clear amber color with a semi-long lasting head. The first part of the taste was a kind of caramel malt with hints of toffee as others have mentioned. The hops were high alpha in taste as I would expect and came on strong, but not too strong at the finish, with maybe a hint more malt. It’s a winner.
