opaque orange, wispy white head, fresh citrus hop aroma with a light floral quality, a bit thin, lots of hop flavor leads to a long bitter finish, slightly sweet malt tries to add balance but falls short to allow the hops to be the whole show,

picking up a nice sweet grapefruit to the aroma, caramel sweetness does a better job balancing the hops

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2007 On tap at Water Street - Delafield. Poured a clear medium amber with a 1" creamy beige head. Aroma picked up sweet caramel and floral notes with pine resin and a touch of herbal hoppage.. rather faint overall. The flavor was carried by pine resin and grapefruit bitterness which paired well with the sweet caramel base.. higher bitterness with a sweet resiny finish.. tasty. Nice balance with the bitterness a little sharp at points.. a tad abrasive at the finish. This would make a solid session brew. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
