I was suprised by the taste, very light and super fruity. It almost did not taste like a beer. Definately on the sweeter side, and watery in taste. rederic (1811), montréal, Quebec, Canada

Pours an unfiltered semi-clear rusty amber brew with a thin light pink head that quickly dissipates clean. Aroma of mostly raspberry Koolaid with a touch of white bread malt and yeast. Taste is light bodied, some tart berry, a touch of cloves and yeast. Finish is watery, light, a hint of tart berry that quickly disappears. Fantomas23 (463), Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA

I ordered the sampler b/c this is what I do when confronted with having to decide among several brews. In the end, this is the one which stood out among all the others. And not in a good way. My lovely companion commented: "Raspberry and beer? Not so much." Indeed. If Dimetapp and rubbing alcohol had an illegitimate child, this would be that offspring. ubamartian (155), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA

Flavor was raspberry iwth a decent tart backing. Light on the palate. Good sell to the blended fruity drink crowd. Not my cup of tea either but better than the pale ale or the amber.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 16, 2007 While adding fruit to a wheat beer always sounds like a great idea it never seems to work out well. This one didn’t either. There was plenty of raspberry aromas and flavors to it. They seemed authentic rather than canned, too. Many brewers are making this mixture. Hopefully the trend does not continue. vvector (3), Midland, Wisconsin, USA does not count | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2007 Had to try it - Delafield location. Atrractive honey color. Not heady, little aroma. Unusually strong fresh raspberry flavor (batch peculiarity most likely), too short of a finish even for a weiss. Difficult to pair with food.
