Great balance, with wheaty/lemony tones not compromised by a strong raspberry intrusion. Cookie/creamy/fruity nose works very well; body is fairly light but not thin; very drinkable, and a really pleasant surprise. Not smoky like most of this pub’s brews. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2003 Murky brown thick looking liquid. Interesting aroma of choclate, raspberries and caramel. Mild sour raspberry flavor mingled with a touch of wheat and malt. Interesting. TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Interesting flavor, taste like a La Crosse Raspberry water, but with alcohol. Not bad, but nothing special. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2004 Opaque brown-red color. Malt and raspberries in the aroma. More raspberries in the flavor. Dominated by raspberries overall. However, I like raspberries so it’ll get a decent score from me. lithy (1850), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Ruddy red, off white cover. Nice raspberry aroma, not overly sweet, some full bodied maltiness. Taste is raspberry, not very tart, nice malt body underneath supports the fruit. thejoeshow (232), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 14, 2008 On tap at Water Street Brewery in Milwaukee. Pours a redish pink color with a slightly pink head. Aroma was of raspberries and a touch of wheat. The flavor was slightly tart but not enough to ruin the beer. There was a mainly fresh raspberry flavor that was nice and thin and fitting for a weiss beer. The finish was a touch dry and it a little fizzy. Overall it was a nice beer that mixes things up on their beer menu. Not bad, worth a try. JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 31, 2009 I liked this, but I can see many did not. Light red color. Raspberry aroma and real raspberry flavor. Yeast yeast and a little wheat. Light pink color. drywallman (230), Lake in the Hills, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 21, 2004 This stuff smelled like slightly smoked malt mixed with raspberries (which I like). Some hops bittering came through, but it was still dominated by the raspberries. An OK fruit thirst quencher.
