Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Oct 20, 2005 Samlpe at Delafield. Murky brown colored body with a decent head for a sample. Was sereved with an orange on top of it and that seemed to be aroma and flavor. Did have a roasty malt aftertaste. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 26, 2004 Clear brown-orangey amber body. Big malt profile featuring dark bagel, molasses, strawberry, and hickory dryness. There’s a grainy dryness about it, too. Big and malty, but kind of boring as well. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jul 5, 2004 12 oz glass at the pub. Lovely caramel-brown, creamy top; it’s a caramel float. Minimal nose, some peaty/smoky earth tones show up as it wams; lightly sweet at first, then a bit dry and earthy late. Good body. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jun 28, 2004 Orange/brown color with a small, but dense, creamy looking light tan head. Woody malt and toast aromas with a hint of alcohol. Mild hint of urinal mint. Flavors of dry caramel, with hints of light raspberry. Thin feel. Touch of bad alcohol in the finish.
