Angeloregon (2008), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 1, 2008 On tap at Water Street Brewing in Port Townsend, WA--Poured a soapy white-golden body with a thin white head. Bread crisp body Very good compared to most of the other WS beers I’ve had. BrewDad (1691), Olympia, Washington, USA Mar 18, 2008 Taster - Water Street Brewery - Port Townsend, WA.
Aroma – Once again very fruity in the nose with a very faint hop.
Appearance – Light amber color, small head and clear.
Flavor – This was a light ale with a very faint flavor. More fruitiness came out. Lite byte to this beer.
Palate – Decent Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – This was a nice beer easy to drink noting to talk about witht his beer. Not much to taste.
Bradrcr (617), Renton, Washington, USA Oct 1, 2007 7/28/07 On draught at the brewery. Aroma is sweet pils malt forward with bready tones and a slight citrusy hop note. Appearance is a clear straw yellow pils color with a low white head. Flavor is VERY bready, with almost every taste of a loaf here, plus pils malt, a low and tasty sourness, moderate bittering and some citrus. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a low carb texture but noticeable bite. Overall, this was pretty good, and easy drinking, with great complexity for the style. I would prefer it a bit sweeter, but it’s a small complaint. TimE (1037), Tokyo, Japan Sep 6, 2007 No nose. Buttery, grainy mouth, which is slightly sour. Dry bitter finish.
