Bouteille de 250 ml obtenue via Importationa Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Odeur de caramel avec une très légère pointe de vinaigre balsamique. Apparence: La couleur est brune-bourgogne avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col beige mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel fruité avec une pointe de cacao. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une textuer légèrement crémeuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Dark brown color, with a big rocky fluffy beige head, with some reddish highlights, and leaving laces, yeasty, sweet malty and caramelized malt, fruity nose, with a cookie dough accent, with some raisiny and plummy notes, and a subtle port liquor aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet malty, toasty character, with a fruity, syrupy maltiness accent, with some brown and candi sugar notes, with a caramelized, raisiny, plummy, liquorish port-like mild mellow warmth mouthfeel, leading towards a malty, fruity, and a faint hop bitterness finish.

Dark brown, almost black coloured beer with an average off white head and some very light carbonation. Sweet, candy like malty herby roasted aroma. Medium palate. Finish i sweet, rather week regarding the 8% alcohol. To sweet, disappointing.

A Mes rate: Draught at Le Cirio. Not much going on really other than plenty of sugary fruit and caramel. Nice clean mouthfeel considering it feels quite thick. Faint alcohol in the nose. Lovely mahogany red colour. The more I drink the more comes through in the flavour. (Just upped to a 7). Plums and molasses and some stoney fruits. Some metal nots let it down a little but a decent beer overall.

Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Pours ruby, with a small white head. Alcohol, candi, caramel and dried fruits in the aroma. The flavor has fruits, dried fruits and candisugar. Full-bodied and sweet mouthfeel. Long sweet and lightly spiced finish. (060824)
