Commercial Description:
The aroma of this beer is agreeably gentle and is carried by a discreet bitterness while the balance between the malt and hops relies on fruity accents and a lightly fresh aftertaste.

750 ml. Average-size white head that reduces to small pools of bubbles. The body is hazy dark yellow. The aroma is malty with notes of bread and cookie. It also shows notes of banana, clove and pineapple as well as moldy/mustiness. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The finish remains mostly sweet, but some light bitterness creeps in at the end. Nice mouthfeel with a full body, velvety texture and lively carboantion. Nice tripel, though the aroma is mostly dominated by the bread and mustiness.

This is a great beer. 11.2 oz from Knightly Spirits. This beer has a great caramel and apple aroma with some yeast to it. Flavor is much the same with some fruit (strawberry?) to it. Very good, worthy of the Watou label. Finish lingers slightly dry, but overall very good.

33cl bottle from World of Beer (Largo, FL). Pours a dark amber golden with a thick and creamy white head that settles slowly gracefully lacing the glass. Aroma is malty sweetness with notes of honey, caramel, hay, grass, bread, yeast, and straw. Faint hints of sweet ripe fruit. Flavor is viscuous and syrupy with notes caramel, syrup, honey, toffee, and bready yeast. Complexities abound as the ale warms. Slightly nutty with a medium-body and slow, lingering sweet sugar plum finish. As good, if not better, than the St. Bernardus Tripel.

Nice head and color. Very tasty beer, slightly fruity and also a hint of hoppiness. Slightly dry finish with the expected hint of alcohol

Wicked big head, slightly off-white and really bubbly. Like champagne. Pale ale color- yellow/gold. Champagne aroma. Lots of citrusy fruitiness in there. Citrusy taste. Not as dry as other tripels. Candy. A wee bit of hops, but not that much. No complaints at all really with this one.

clear gold pour with a small white head. Aroma is earthy esters. Flavor has quite a bit of pear and apple, some earthy funk, and a tad bit of old hops. Finishes very dry, lots of earthiness going all over this one.
