(Draught at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London 22 Apr 2006) Golden yellow colour, hazy, with a firm white head. Nose is soft and spicy with hints of clove and coriander. Taste is smooth and spicy with clove and citrus (Seville orange). Smooth and refreshing, but a bit on the thin side.

Almost tasteless, faint hint of vanilla. Maybe something was wrong with the bottle.

Bottled. Yellow, hazy beer with a large, dense, diminishing white head. Yeast sediments in the bottles. Lovely citrus aroma of lemon and orange, and some spicyness. Quite weak and dry mouthfeel. Fruity, chalky and metallic finish. The flavor is disappointing in comparison with the aroma, banana, lemon and coriander. The amount of lemon flavor almost makes it reminiscent of a radler. Not a bad beer, though. (060228)

Qui pense qu’une bière blanche est sans goût ou fade ? Tel était mon point de vu avant de boire ma première Wit Bier. Cette bière est douce mais avec suffisemment d’amertume pour être aimée. Bonne dégustation.

On tap at Delirium Café, May 2005. Lightly hazy blonde with a thick creamy head. Aroma of wheat, bubble gum but some matchstick sulfur notes also present. Rather weak in mouth, with light bananas and chalky notes. Not what I expected from this brewery.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Hazy yellow with somewhat diminishing white head. Aroma of orange, lemon, coriander, biscuity malts, other spices. Thinnish mouthfeel. Something slightly metallic in the finish. Not bad, though.
