this is somwhat of that typical wit bier that is out there. not so much hogaarden but a bit more belgian poperinge hops here. which makes it more enjoyable. good crisp and refreshing. quite thin. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England

I find this cloudy beer more refreshing from the tap, more citrus tones, little sweetness of the wheatmalts, and quite a dry aftertaste of the localhopps of Poperinge i presume.
It’s indeed a easy going white beer, almost like a lager.

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jul 9, 2004 Hazy pale blond color. The aroma is artificial, plastic. Quite sweet, with no character, and quite metallic aftertaste. Watery. jerohen (1614), Bussum, Netherlands
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2004 Cloudy yellow coloured, ok head, beautiful trails of yeast floating around. Typical Belgian white aroma. Smooth flavour, not as sour as some other witbiers. OK piscator34 (1125), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 19, 2004 Sunny yellow with the typical witbier haze. Somewhat similar to the Blanche du Chambly in that it’s weighted more towards the spice side of things than the citrus. Could use a bit more yeasty flavors though. Still refreshing and good. Thanks Boutip!
