Rusty copper hue with a creamy white head. Rusty hop aroma which follows through to the taste. Very thin and uninteresting.

Sampled from 500 ml can, highly rusty aroma, pours with a dark copper hue and a white head, minimal carbonation, very rusty and slightly woody bitter taste, fairly watery finish, bog standard bitter.

smelled carmelly, had a nice amber colour, a watered donw hops flavour. The only up note on this beer was that it was a gift from england.

Feb, 2003 Can. Why did I buy this? As punishment I now have to write something about it. How about: crap. [1.1]
Feb, 2004 Keg @ Australian Arms, Ramsgate. Typical keg bitter. Cold. Hazy dark amber. Not a lot of flavour apart from a constant stewed cardboard bitterness that unfortunately lingers. Thin bodied and not very nice. [0.9]
Feb, 2006 Keg @ <a href=http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/27/278 Cow, Larkfield Drinkable beer. But thin, carbonated, poor quality and dull. [1.9]
Aug, 2006 Keg @ The Walnut Tree, Eccles, Kent. Quite pleasantly drinkable for a cardboard keg. [2.2]

Uninteresting light Bitter which offers just a little bit less of everything other bitters offer. There is little body and little cream. It’s not really crisp and not even very bitter. Flavours of malt and metal. Bittersweet finish. Some bitterness remains in the aftertaste.

Traditional English bitter, but with a slightly more than needed bitterness. Very little aroma, very little glass activity. Average.
