1liter bottle, totally funny and amatuer generic label complete with typos. Mostly clear golden colored body. Fusel nose of sugar and corn syrup. Malt-liquor like, heavily fusel/chemical-like/solvent. Achedylhyde in the nose in small amounts. Surprisingly terrible. Overly sweet and adjunct laden golden Belgian strong ales are not my thing.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a white head over a hazed golden body. Aroma of orange, grass, bread and Belgian yeast. Taste is wheat and some dark fruits, and a bit of hops. Light bubbles and a watery mouthfeel.

Bottle courtesy of dkachur on 04/26/2009. Very hazy amber body with a large frothy white head. Sweet grainy aroma, lots of wheat, oats, and a caramel background with some spice. Spicy grainy flavor, lots of floral character, with wheat and oats in the background and a bit of caramel and a bit of fruitiness. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Tap @ Wedge Brewing Co. Cloudy, deep golden. Strong! Straw flavor. Crisp grassy hop. Heavy bodied. Dry crisp malt. Very strong! Very herbal hop character. A touch of straw, rich syrupy pils malts. Very bold. Lots of herbal hop characteristics. Overall, it is like an Imperial Pils with Belgian yeast. <27 Oct 09>
