Tastes like drinking a christmas tree. Bitter orange citrus hop finish. Hopheads may love it, but I found it to be too lopsided for my taste. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

Pours out a nice dark coppery color with a decent tan head. aroma was fairly hoppy with notes of malt and sugar. Flavor was big on hops with a very dry citrusy finish. A nice treat. was a rather nice suprise from a local asheville brewer. NachlamSie (1644), Tennessee, USA

On tap at the brewery. Pours cloudy orange with an attractive head. The aroma calls out to me almost immediately. Man, this is dank. Hop qualities abound with loads of pot, pine, and herbs. Citrus is not immediately apparent. The flavor is dry with tons of zesty lemon, pine, herbs, ganja. I must emphasize the very fresh and very real hop strength bestowed on this beer. Asheville needed a brewery that can produce a hop monster like this one. ucusty (1900), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

This beer was definitely fresh, which was working for it. Lots of hops; resiny and good citrus. Slight grass. Very solid. redmariah (1), Nellysford, USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 23, 2008 Best Beer at the Asheviile,NC brewing in our opinion...and we tried ALL the IPA’s...now we just have to have a distributor in VA to enjoy it!!! We brew our own and grow our own hops as well, and it gets an "A"!!! argo0 (6951), Washington DC, USA
