Nov 19, 2009 1L and 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a soapy white head. Has an off, bitter and sour aroma. Sour tasting with a bit of caramel maltiness. A strange bitterness throughout.

Appearance: Clear gold with a small, foamy, white head.
Aroma: Very light nose with hints of lemon and malt.
Flavor: Heavy on the malt with a sweet taste and an odd bitterness that doesn’t seem to mesh well with this brew.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel and a medium-short finish.
Overall: A poor Helles in my mind. Skip this one.

Mar 20, 2009 The aroma is sour, malty, buttery, and grass. The appearance is amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma and a bit garbage like. The palate is thin. Overall I don’t like this beer but it does have a nice buttery taste.
