| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2004 this beer poured clear golden yellow with thin white head. aroma was a slight grainy, malty smell. flavor was a lot like the standard macro-brews that has a slightly better flavor. after taste convinced me that it is right there with most macros.....a metallic after taste ...not very pleasing. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA

Aroma of malt, citrus hops and a bit of sweetness. Light-bodied; Pleasant maltiness covered by a citrus hoppiness. Aftertaste clean with no reminants of taste. Overall, a good beer-not great nor bad. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle at the Lost Dog Cafe in Arlington, Virginia with my good friend Jon on 20-November-2003. warrior (213), Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2003 A decent beer. A slighlty sweet aroma and the flavor leans towards a little bit sweet malt flavor with some suttle hop bitterness. An easy drinking beer that I think leans more towards the helles style than a dortmunder. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 21, 2003 Gold body, no head. Smells like a watered American lager. Taste is pleasing: sweet melon, citrus and tangy hops. No aftertaste really. This actually worked well with the "Chicken Taco Pizza" we were eating. Sampled in a 12oz. bottle from The Lost Dog Cafe in Arlington, VA with my great friend Jeremy. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 19, 2003 Not much going in the aroma or flavor departments. It just tastes like any old beer - nothing really sticks out. I'm disappointed because I normally like this style of beer and this brewer. hopscotch (5528), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 14, 2003 Crystal clear, very light yellow lager. Huge, soapy, white head. Very good retention. Spotty lacework.
The nose is soapy and lightly fruity with tiny notes of honey.
The flavor is pretty nondescript. Not offensive. Well-balanced, but very thin and watery. Fizzy mouthfeel. Short, crisp, clean finish.
