Taste full of malt, bread, and hops. Overall not a bad beer. Wouldn't mind having this again! beastdog75 (337), Brick, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 29, 2003 A pretty average beer in all respects. Nothing spectacular. Some light malt and hop flavors and a nice bready aftertaste. Probably brewed because it's a "safe" beer for the restaurant's macro-drinking patrons. Gunshy (479), Ohio, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 22, 2003 This beer poured a yellow gold color and formed a bubbly white head that left little lace as it subsided. Some carbonation is present. An aroma of hops, malt and grain. The flavor was of hops, some malt and bread. The finish was light and had some metalic bitterness to it. Okay as a session beer, but nothing special.

Good grainy and malty flavor, smooth a balaned. Somewhat heavy. Pretty good. Re-rated and lowered after a drink at the brewpub. ToadMan (554), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 28, 2003 Golden hue with a fair amount of carbonation. Weak aroma oh hops with a piney tinge. Tastes moderately hopped, poorly balanced with some light malt. Sour tinge in the body, finishes slightly bitter. Admiral (524), Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 27, 2003 Not a bad helles at all; light in color and body yet still satisfying. Malt predominates. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2003 Bright, deep-gold color and a good bit of carbonation. Aromas of pale malt are balanced with grassy hop notes. Lots of good, crisp malt flavors, with a very round, smooth, and clean body. The only detraction is that the flavor profile could have had more depth. Finishes with more pale malt flavors with some bitterness. Wakie (612), Centreville, Virginia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 2, 2003 A remarkably unremarkable beer. It just sat in the glass, standard beer appearance, a slightly off-setting aroma to it, and without any real taste. This is such a terribly boring beer that I almost wish it had been bad.
