0.5L bottle. Orange-brown, semi-cloudy, very small white head. Aroma is very much cereal, grain, bread, with faint caramel. Flavor is grainy, some more caramel. Finish is citrus, slightly dry, slightly malty. Would like a touch more maltiness, little less bread, but not too bad.

500mL Bottle. Dirty, infected grain nose. Rotting. Stinky. And just plain lactic nasty. I think there’s diacetyl in here, but I wouldn’t know. Pours a really clouded amber-brown with a rim in white. Flavor is just as revolting. A tangy, messy yeast-dirty mineral bath of mud, rotting cow cud, and manure. Skanky. Palate is thin and biting. Drain pour. Garbage.

Could be the best of the summer brews for me at least. On tap at the brewery in Jarvisburg, pours amber with a nice head. Taste is old style bread and malt. Nice dry finish.

500ml bottle from OldGrowth. Head weak, as was lacing. Amber, almost copper color. Aroma was caramel, some grass. Flavor was caramel, grass in the fore, some tea bags, and spicey elements in the finish. Mouthfeel was moderate, fairly balanced malt and hops. Decent take on the style, but not a fav. Thanks, Tom, always liking a shot at a new alt!

500 ml picked up in OBX. Poured cloudy dull gold in color with a medium sized beige head. Aroma was dusty, caramel malt, grassy. Taste was nutty, caramel malts with a touch of alcohol warming. Finish was a little dry and not too bad. ok.

500ml bottle shared courtesy of Miver. Poured a medium to deepter orangish color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of nuts and caramel. I wasn’t really getting too much else. Tastes of the same nuttiness, caramel, grains, and some cardboard.

Bottle courtesy of Miver. Poured a somewhat hazy golden/brown color body with a decent off white head. The aroma was pretty subdude. Flavors were kinda dirty grains with some toffee, cardboard, nuts, and more alcohol than a 4.9% beer should have in the flavor.

Poured a hazy golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Alcohol really stuck me as high, in both the aroma and taste. I believe the bottle said this was <5%. Was earthy, grainy, light citrus, wood, and a bit of sweeter caramel.
